Our Story
Annyce & Glen Meiners | What do you get when you have a teacher who grew up on a farm and a teacher who grew up in a city? Glen was raised on a farm in Central Illinois and Annyce was raised in Baltimore. Prior to forming Beyond Video in 2001, Annyce and Glen had been living in Japan for nine years and trying to decide on a career change. Since they both had a combined experience of over 30 years with video production, they decided to start a video company. Their timing was fortuitous because Non-Linear Editing systems on computers were making it possible for small companies to produce videos that only the networks could have made ten years earlier. Annyce and Glen were able to take advantage of the new 3-chip digital cameras to provide broadcast quality video. Over the years, their technological challenge has been to have up-to-date equipment, computers and software to say nothing of the conferences, training workshops and webinars that they have attended. As they begin their second decade as professional videographers, Annyce and Glen look forward to the new challenges especially in the area of Internet videos to help create dynamic websites. |
